I hope you are doing well. I have been meaning to share an update with you for some time now. I adopted "Asia" from Misty's December 2019 litter in March of 2020. She had adjusted well to NYC but we moved to New Hampshire last year so now she is enjoying being my hiking buddy. I named her Branca and she has grown into the absolute sweetest dog. As soon as I got her I felt it was all meant to be, like she was just waiting for me. She is the perfect fit in my life and I can't imagine living through the pandemic without her. Everyone who meets her loves her and I've received many compliments on her temperament. She is so good with other dogs and children too. In fact, one of my friend's parents love her so much they joined your waiting list for a Schnoodle. I just wanted to thank you for raising such excellent pups. Best, Theodora |

We hope this email finds you well and that you've had a great year despite the pandemic and all that 2020 had to offer.. whew!
We are approaching our 1-year adoption date (02/22/20) of "Gizmo" our precious Chocolate Merle whom Brownie & Kobe gave birth to on 12/26/19!! I remember my son asking you if it was hard to let go of the puppies and you replied that it was easier knowing that they are bringing happiness and joy to families abroad. Your words couldn't be any truer!! We can't begin to explain the joy that 'Merlin' has brought to our family. He is such a blessing to us all in different ways and the timing of his adoption was impeccable with the unforeseen year that 2020 brought us all! There are SO many things that I could say about him, but I'm trying to keep this update brief and informative.. lol!! Here are a few bullet points that I'd like to share:

- Athletic- His ability to jump, speed when running, etc. is incredible!
- Attentive- He pays attention to everyone in the room and keeps us informed of outside guests!
- Smart- Incredibly smart and such a fast learner! He was SO much fun at training school and stood out above the rest for his quick response to training!
- Handsome- We may be biased, but Merlin is one good looking dog! He is complimented so much from his super soft coat to his two-toned eye color and merle coat. Our local groomer has perfected his cut/trim and we LOVE his uniqueness!!
- Loving- Although he's not a lap dog.. he is so loving to everyone he meets- young and old! He knows how to comfort from afar and give gentle kisses when needed
- Well behaved- We have never had an instant that he was disobedient or aggressive towards anyone. He even takes care to gently take a treat from your hand or patiently waits for you to place it on the floor for him
- Potty-trained by six months old!

- He loves car rides and cruising downtown (Greenville, SC)
- He loves his belly rubs and full body massages
- His favorite toy is still his 'baby' tennis ball that he came home with!

Dear Melissa,
This thank you is long over due! We adopted our puppy from Willow and Bruno’s June 2020 litter. He was originally called Brownie, and we renamed him to Timber because of his green eyes and dark brown, tan, and white hair. We just love this little guy! Timber is super fun and snuggly. He loves to play and explore. It has been fun to take him on adventures. He is a fast learner as well. I’ve attached pictures of him at 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, and 9 months—including a few close-up shots so you can see how beautiful he is. Thank you for your kindness and all of your great communication throughout the adoption process. We had a specific list for our puppy preferences, and Yes, to repeat Julie’s note.....he’s a sweetheart, and he has been part of our “pack” from the day he walked into our house. He will be 10 months on April 3rd and is currently 30lbs. Even though we have never met Bruno nor Willow, we can see each of them in him. Great guy!!!! Hope all is well with you and that you are enjoying the gorgeous spring weather we’ve been having! I cannot believe Finn turned one at the beginning of March. I feel like I just brought him home yesterday. He got neutered at the beginning of February and all went well. He’s 12.2lbs, and our vet doesn’t think he’ll grow much more! I was wondering if you’d heard from any of his other litter mates- I’m so curious as to how big they are and how they’re looking now (idk if you can share photos but thought I’d ask anyway). Good morning! I wanted to share an update on the newest baby, Charlie Blu. As you can see, him and his half sister, Peaches are very lovable together.
We absolutely love our dogs from you! They are so well tempered, great personalities and so lovable. Thank you for being such a responsible and reputable breeder!!! Charlie is officially the nursing school mascot and my graduating students love him so much, they said he should be a therapy dog. He just wanders into their lab and class, sits by their desk, feet, anywhere and commands their attention. He is attending their graduation next Friday the picture of him with his toy is in our nursing lab (he’s supervising the surroundings) He is such a beautiful color, love the Merle! I hope you and your family are well! I wanted to send you an email to THANK YOU FOR THE ABSOLUTE BEST FUR BABY IN THE WORLD! We renamed Oreo to Loki, and everyday she amazes us. She is absolutely the love of our lives. And boy is she highly intelligent! She was fully potty trained within two months, knows about 30 different commands or instructions, she is mastering partial agility course training, loves, playing soccer(really) and her obedience level is unbelievable. She is currently 16 inches tall, 14 pounds and recovered very well from her spay procedure. Her vet loves her so much, that they put her on the website. She has such a funny, in-your-face personality, incredibly smart and loves to boss around our older 7-year old Emma. Perhaps she is a more dominant dog but she’s still growing and we are watching! She’s also completed a puppy class and made a proud mama out of me for being so incredibly obedient in class :) She rings the bell whenever she wants to go out and really hasn’t had an accident in a while - I guess it is easier following the older dog. She has picked up our older dog’s bad habit of barking at other dogs - so we’re working on that!
Sofie brings such laughter to our household with her spunkiness - but like clockwork, she winds down around 8pm and becomes this supremely mellow pup :) Her hair is always so gorgeously soft and curly - you certainly do produce such gorgeous pups!

Height is about 18" and weight is right at 30 lbs.
He seems to have inherited more of the schnauzer side, but that is exactly what I was hoping for. Finally, the milk teeth are gone along with most of the play biting. That was the worst part of the young puppy age by far. He goes to daycare a couple of times a week for socialization. He has friends there and plays very well all day long. The sensory training seems to have paid off well. He has no problem being handled. Overall, he is a very good boy. |

His unique look means that he receives heaps of attention wherever he goes, and we’ve actually led a friend to Lyons to get their own schnoodle! They couldn’t resist after seeing how perfect Oskar is.
Training him has been so enriching: he’s terribly clever (almost to a fault) and we’re actively trying to outsmart him. He’s also very full of love for his humans...and their socks. We’re so glad we found you guys and found him!

We just wanted to give you an update on "Poppy" who we renamed Frida. She is now just over 12 months old and the light of our family! She weights 9.8 pounds (perfect) and she travels everywhere with us! She's already been to Vancouver, Newfoundland, Mexico City and Chicago!
She has a lot of energy, loves meeting new people and dogs, and most of all children. Her temperament is amazing and we are constantly getting compliments about her - especially her eyes and coat! She's lightened up quite a bit and I'm thinking she may even be blonde at some point!
We are so grateful to you for our precious little girl and we will be sure to come back to you when we are ready for another.

When I came home with the puppy three months ago, Hershey became Chewy He has grown a lot in size, cuteness, and energy! He is a little over 10 lbs and very healthy.
He is very much a show stopper every where we take him. His coloring is just as beautiful as it can be. I am sending you a few pictures so you can see how beautiful he is.
Update!
I wanted to give you an update on our sweet puppy. Chewy is now a year and a half and he is the joy of the family.
He spent most of his summer swimming in the lake and showing off his athletic ability. He is a great swimmer and loves everything outdoors. He is a healthy, happy, and beautiful 17lb bundle of cuteness and joy!
There is not a time we go out for a walk that we don't get compliments on how beautiful he is.
I'm including some pictures so you can see how well he is doing.

Kai is a little more than 10 pounds now and has been the absolute biggest joy of my life since I picked him up at 8 weeks old. He has such a spunky personality and LOVES to play any time, day or night. He also really enjoys going on adventures, whether around the neighborhood or in the car. He's a very popular puppy and (literally!) turns heads everywhere we go.
Kai is absolutely brilliant and was a star pupil in puppy kindergarten and first grade classes. When he's a little older, I'm hoping to start training him to compete. I'm so looking forward to many, many happy years together.

It's hard to believe that Rudy has only been here a week, but he has absolutely won our hearts, and the hearts of every single person we come into contact with. Look forward to SO many updates form us - we can't wait to share our adventures with you!
Our trainer, John, was blown away by Rudy's disposition and said he knew that Rudy came from an incredible, loving family just from the way he responded to one hour of training and direction.
Rudy already knows sit and come, and he's taken to potty training and his crate WONDERFULLY. He's slept for 8 hours a night since he came home, and eats like a champion! We've been working on positive associations - he knows that fire trucks, police sirens, breweries, the farmer's market, the vet, brushing, and construction noises are all perfectly okay. He loves riding in the car and gets snuggles and kisses from everyone! No one even thinks he's real at first - they think he's a stuffed animal. I happily say, "Nope, he's not a goldendoodle - he's a schnoodle from Lyon's Little Paws in Kernersville and his mom's name is Ginger and dad's name is Biscuit." Everyone knows how meticulous your record keeping is in health testing and genealogy. I can't stop bragging about you! Your efforts are totally obvious because he's basically THE PERFECT DOG.

He loves riding in the car and gets snuggles and kisses from everyone! No one even thinks he's real at first - they think he's a stuffed animal. I happily say, "Nope, he's not a goldendoodle - he's a schnoodle from Lyon's Little Paws in Kernersville and his mom's name is Ginger and dad's name is Biscuit." Everyone knows how meticulous your record keeping is in health testing and genealogy. I can't stop bragging about you! Your efforts are totally obvious because he's basically THE PERFECT DOG.
I saw that photo of Finn, Rudy’s brother on the testimonials page and I just had to write! Rudy is nearly six months old and he weighs 14.2 pounds! He’s an absolute gem :)

On a side note: our vet is very impressed with Jake’s coat, how aligned his teeth are and loves his personality as well as how intelligent he is. She said we got a great dog!

I wanted to share another cute pic and tell you how much we're enjoying life with this little guy. He's been on four RV trips with us now in Northern Michigan, been to 2 outdoor concerts where he sat quietly and seemed to enjoy the music. He watches TV attentively too, loves meeting everybody, canine or human, and generally just goes with the flow. His puppy antics sometimes tire us out, but his affection more than makes up for that! The caramel color highlighting around his nose is more pronounced now, and his tail is getting a little white frosting. Happy National Pet Day! Writing to share that Buster was a Star Student at his Puppy Orientation Class yesterday evening. He listened to the Trainer and wanted to socialize with everyone! Other puppies and people alike. We are very pleased with our selection in a puppy. Buster is a fantastic addition to the family!! He trains everyone wherever he goes. And we get complements on his disposition in addition to his handsome looks!! Everyone asks what breed he is and a total stranger came over to pet him in our car. He gave her a kiss and she thought he was very cool. He will be registered for more training to begin in early May. We look forward to watching him continue to blossom. Have a blessed day! Tootsie & Mickey 5/15/18

I wanted to send you a picture of Finny today on his birthday - Tootsie & Mickey 5/15/18. I see on your website that you are expecting a Tootsie - Mickey litter any day now, and I wish I was ready and on the list to get another pup!! Finny is that wonderful I haven't had him weighed lately, but last fall he was around 13 lbs, just a perfect size! His coat is thick and luxurious, and the softest I've ever seen. When he's just been groomed, like in this picture, it's like brown velvet. He has the best personality and has matured so nicely. He's playful, but not hyper. He barks when someone goes by the house, but otherwise he's the quietest dog I've ever had. He is very smart and can learn a trick super fast, and listens to me pretty well, especially with an incentive - food, LOL! He does love to eat! I will definitely be getting another puppy from you in the future and hope my next one is just as lovely as this guy! I know you've started breeding Moyens, but I hope you keep breeding with some toy poodles too so smaller pups will still be available! I love this size. Dear Melissa,
I was on your website and saw that you have bred Finny's parents, Mickey & Tootsie. It made me think that I should send you a recent photo to show you how Finny looks at 14 months old. We absolutely love his soft plush coat so we keep him nice and fluffy like this. Last time he was weighed, right at one year, he was just under 12 lbs. He still the perfect pup for us, and everyone who meets him loves him! Personality abounds in this little fella; what a sweetheart he is. He is just easy to take anywhere and is always happy. We couldn't have asked for a better dog. We hope to be able to get another one just like him eventually! Hope you're having a good summer, I know you've been busy with puppies and more puppies! Two weeks in and Banner is doing great! He and Finny love to play together. I'm attaching a picture so you can see them! He's eating well and was sleeping through the night by the third night with no trouble. We have him on a structured sleep schedule throughout the day and getting an adequate amount of sleep really keeps him happy and friendly. He's a lovely puppy, and I couldn't ask for anything better! Cash was born 11/11/2014 and came home with us on 1/1/15. He is just amazing. He is 14.5 lbs and still as playful, precious and handsome as the day we brought him home. We take him everywhere we go and he always attracts a crowd. Thank you again for allowing us to take Cash into our family.

Hope you’re doing well! Wanted to write as I knew you’d enjoy seeing these. You may or may not know that after getting Arnie (back in May 2013), there’s been quite a trend in Winston-Salem with these. I’ve got a list of 11 doggies that have come either directly or indirectly after meeting Arnie. There are no words to describe the amount of joy that this dog brings to our lives. Yesterday afternoon, Dolly (Kate & Trent’s dog) had her 2nd birthday party and there were 5 of us included but Blue Daniel couldn’t make it (we had Winston, Mabel, & Arnie) - Palmer was invited but he couldn’t make it because he was still a little too young. I took a bunch of pictures and figured you would enjoy seeing all of your former babies. It was like they sensed they were from the same place and had the BEST time ever playing together. We hope to have another one with more of the ones we know included. Thank you so much for what you do and for helping bring us all so much joy! They’re THE BEST EVER!!! |

I thought I'd send you a couple of pictures and give you an update on Finny at 5 1/2 months. (He's from Tootsie and Mickey's May litter.)
He weighs 9.3 lbs and is a beautiful chocolate ball of fluff! My groomer showed me that his wavy adult coat is starting to come in at the base of his fluffy puppy fur, and I'm looking forward to seeing how he turns out. He lost almost all of his baby teeth at nearly the same time in a two-week period, and so is growing a full set of adult teeth all at once. It's been funny, because I've never had a dog teethe in this way before!
He has been a fantastic puppy! He's smart, curious, confident, playful, and very even-tempered. So far he is a very easygoing, fun-loving, happy boy that is easy to take anywhere I want to go. I definitely picked the right puppy for me, and I'm so glad we had the unexpected pleasure of being able to pick a puppy this summer despite the long waiting list. He loves everyone, people and animals alike, and never meets a stranger.
I've already started him in K9 nosework, which I've competed in with my other dogs, and he is a natural! He has incredible focus for such a young pup. I think he's going to be an amazing nosework dog!! He has such a strong prey drive that I'm also thinking I'd like to try him at lure coursing when he gets a little older and his joints have strengthened. He loves nothing more than to chase something so he should be great at that too.
I hope all is well; I keep an eye on your website, and you've had some beautiful pups since we were there! I hope you have a lovely holiday season!
